Review on ๐Ÿ“ถ Enhance and Expand Your Network with TP-Link AV600 Powerline WiFi Extender and WiFi Booster (TL-WPA4220 KIT) by Adam Nowak แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

The situation was something like this: one of the rooms in the apartment was separated by a load-bearing wall, in which some kind of iron armature sat down, which did not allow the router to finish off the signal to the devices in this room. I connected the powerline adapter, I had to tinker a little with the instructions, they were not written very clearly, but there was a video on the Internet, it solved the problem. As a result, I expanded the old network (during the transitions between rooms, the phone, for example, switches between routers, you donโ€™t have to change anything by hand), installing the attached access point in this room, very convenient. Surprisingly, I did not feel any drop in speed relative to the original. I think this is the best solution for those who for some reason do not want to run an Ethernet cable or look for other solutions. The signal is transmitted within one phase (this is important). You should not include either an adapter or an access point in the pilot (you can use a regular extension cord), this sometimes knocks out traffic jams. I havenโ€™t seen any failures yet, although everyone writes about them. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the house is new and no one has chewed on the wiring in it yet. Overall experience: extremely positive, even surprised that I sat down to write a review.

Pros
  • A beautiful exterior, a very powerful access point, no congestion with various buttons and features, transparent usage scenarios, network coverage expansion works with a bang.
Cons
  • Not too detailed (sometimes even a little contradictory instruction manual), which, however, did not prevent use. The price, of course, is also not happy.
