This is my third torque wrench in this series. Maybe my 4th? I've had the larger/longer 1/2" and 3/8" for a few years now and bought a 1/4" drive at the same time to add to my collection. You don't see any commercial use. But I have them all worked well as a weekend mechanic on jeeps, pickups, tractors, etc. Two important things I learned: 1. Always place them on a flat surface when they are on, otherwise they ALWAYS need to be calibrated when not 2 Save on batteries Buy AA lithium batteries, these things are too expensive for a cheap alkaline battery to burn out, and if you're a poor man like me, have a well-heated garage, or work outside in the winter, lithium doesn't bother you that much the cold.
