Great design, poor execution

I like the design, easy setup, alarm clock can be postponed to tomorrow or reset, night light is nice. The product is very light and feels cheap. Sometimes when I pick it up to turn the alarm on or off, the power cord rips out (it's one of those mini-jacks with not much holding power); I quickly learned how to install a backup battery! And after two months the alarm clock died; Instead of a loud buzzer, I hear the faint sound of a cricket. Very disappointing.
