I was hesitant because I have mixed hair that is wavy/curly, dry and tangle free. wanted to try something different. This stuff is AMAZING. For a small fee, he wet and detangled that frizzy mess on my head, giving me luscious curls that burst. I've used the entire system (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in protein conditioner, and twist-on cream) but the conditioner can probably work. as a standalone product with other curly hair products.
