I think people having trouble with this baseplate either have a weak magnet in their case or are not using a Magsafe case at all. This is designed to attach to a case that contains a stronger magnet than the one built into the phone. I use it with a phone case and it holds up very well! It does exactly what it's supposed to and fits perfectly in my popsocket. 10/10 I would buy again!
