Ideal safety flashlight for the elderly. This is the third set of Mr. Balken that I have bought. They're all over my house. I realized that if there was a sudden power outage, I would remain seated until the light came on. So I put Mr. Beam on the floor by my chair, on the stairs, and by my bed. At the slightest movement (when the house is dark), Mr. Beam lights up brightly. I can easily go to the toilet or even pick up a flashlight to use as a flashlight. Each unit is well constructed and has an elegant design that blends in with any decor. Batteries last a long time, but I always have spares on hand. I recommend Mr. Beam at anyone who needs to fumble for a switch in the dark. Clear SAFETY point for the elderly.
