Review on 🔧 Frost Plug Removal and Installation Set - OTC (4603) by Doug Powell

I don't understand the negative reviews. This product works exactly as advertised and the quality is excellent. Forget the old shade tree technique of inserting the end of a socket wrench. This tool allows access to very hard to reach areas on the underside of the engine block and is made of heavy duty steel. Yes, the end will bump a little if you hit it with a kid's sledgehammer, but it won't deform. Multiple sizes of adapters are included so you can fit almost any type of end cap. This set of tools makes a very frustrating job easy and in some cases possible where other methods don't work. It also includes a handy device for removing existing broken freezer plugs. I only wish I had bought this before I scratched my block to remove a broken connector with a clumsy technique without the proper tools. If you're swapping out plugs, you can't go wrong with this tool. Highly recommended.
