Review on Saucony Mens Peregrine Sneaker Black Men's Shoes by James Cabot

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for the Auckland hills, love them in the rain/mud

I have bought these shoes 8 months since writing this review. The first photo is when I received new shoes and just picked up the others today. I would say I think they could have been made from more durable materials, as you can see I have decent wear on the shoe as well as a couple of holes and a worn through hole in the ankle area. However, it really depends on how you use the shoes and what your walking/running style is considering how much they wear down. I used them an average of 15-20 miles a week running or hiking. I've used them recently in the crazy rain we're experiencing and they've performed brilliantly in mud, mud, puddles and running water. They won't keep your feet dry, but with all the mesh I've found, they push water out pretty quickly and don't have much of a problem with heat, even when wet. I am very active in this, but as you can personally see, this is not a big problem. The fit is great, the traction is second to none and overall just a great show for trail running/hiking. I can see they are 50% smaller than when I bought them so got another pair today as they are falling apart on me. I usually wear a size 9 to 9.5 and got these in a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly. They are very flexible at the bottom, making it easy for them to get around the various obstacles you encounter along the way. I really liked these things in the rain/mud.
