For those looking for a unique and secure way to easily store and retrieve hard drive backups, this is the way to go! (Besides, if you're just looking for a way to safely transport your hard drives!) I thought it was a bit pricey, but since it was the only thing I wanted, I went with this product and have no regrets. durable and it has space for multiple HDDs and to my surprise it also has space for multiple SSDs. The upholstery is very nice and hasn't fallen apart and I expect it to last for years. (I'd say around 10-20 years or more depending on how often I access it, every 1-2 months.) I usually use it to keep backup disks so I have a place to go in case of an emergency I can take everything with me, my digital stuff and go. When I received my hard drives I cut off the top of the anti-static sheet and popped the whole thing into a slot in the box, which should not only help protect the foam from destruction, but also help keep my hard drives safe from static electricity. I haven't read if the foam has anti-static properties, but I'll probably continue to use the anti-static bags that came with the hard drives, if only to keep the edges of the hard drives and my nails from ripping the foam. I should note that the foam used for the dividers is a very thick and dense foam and has good resilience so it shouldn't break too easily and it has a very nice soft texture so it shouldn't scratch anything . .The foam for the top of the box is not very dense and easy to tear, but has good elasticity, making it fit snugly to the top of the hard drives, helping to better hold them in place and protect them from horizontal forces , when dropped. The foam for the top of the box is not very tight and can tear easily, but it has good resiliency so it will stick to the top of the hard drives and help hold them in place better and partially protect them from the horizontal forces that occur to protect B. by slamming a door, opening or falling. Just in case I didn't specify, hard drives are not shipped with this product. I'm just sharing how I use it and what I noticed about it so you can decide if this review helps you or not. one in the future just in case I need an impromptu Christmas present for someone I know or just need some extra space. Again, I felt this product cost a little more.
