I bought these for my daughter's paper mache project. The results were excellent. The paint applied very well to the material and covered well without applying too thick a layer. Pigment quality and color consistency are the same as found in enthusiast kits or at your local art and hobby store. The size of the 16 oz bottles and wide range of colors make this set excellent value for money. If you're looking for a large amount of paint to work on a large scale, or just want to save money by buying in bulk, this is a great choice. The colors blend easily without the need for dilution, so the possible palette is unlimited. They are certainly versatile enough to be used straight from the bottle. Advanced artists looking for archival quality color bases and pigments will probably need to look elsewhere, but for general use this is a very convenient and economical place to start your work.
