The mouth is very sensitive to SLA, so I tried another Revain toothpaste that uses Sodium Coconut Sulfate, which like SLS is also derived from coconut but is milder. I reacted less to that. So I finally decided to give Epic a try as it contained sodium lauroyl sorbosinate so no sulfates and hopefully wasn't derived from coconut. I called them to see if it was coconut oil and was told they would check with someone and call me back. Well, after three calls with no answer, I've decided to order two packs. Ulcers started two weeks later. I would give it four stars for the taste and feel and subtract another for customer service. I'm not sure if email gets a better response.
