The color is a little darker than in the photo.
Gray and natural jute colors were much darker than shown in photos. In the end I sent the item back. However, the quality is excellent and seemed to be very durable. It can be sat on or used as a footstool or ottoman. I highly recommend this stool for its quality. However, please note that the actual colors are about 2 tones darker than shown in the picture.
