My cat loves it when we pitch her tent with a blanket stretched over the seat and back of the sofa. I was looking for something that would give her the same feeling she needs when we're not home. I've bought a few cardboard cat houses in the past but they've never been useful after the first night. When I saw it with the curtains I thought it was perfect for her as she can still hide if she wants. She and her brother love it! They fight about it sometimes, so maybe I'll buy another one. My cats are 15 years old and each weigh about 11 pounds. There's enough space for one of them, and then there doesn't seem to be any trouble getting in or out. I haven't tried washing the inside of the pillow yet, so I can't comment on that.
