I had my doubts at first, I wasn't sure if it would be safe/escape proof and also the fit was odd as it didn't say which side was which side for the neck the chest? But one side was smaller when I tightened the velcro. Live with the fact that it has two small rings at the top that I attach the leash to to make it more secure. In an emergency I can use the top harness to lift my cat and the leash is short but functional while my little Jahi gets used to the harness and leash. Jahi doesn't seem to mind, he often sleeps in it and doesn't complain when it's on. In general I like it very much! Took 4-6 months for a kitten.
