The opinions on this jacket were correct. I bought this jacket and matching pants for my 12 year old son. He is slightly smaller than an average 12 year old. I bought a size 12 hoping there would be room underneath for a coat or thick jacket. He could do just that, he was skiing with his class and I couldn't get him the winter overalls in time, so we made a decision. for this suit. I bought size 10 for pants and 12 for jackets because it's short. He is 4'11 and weighs 85 pounds. The jacket and pants matched his layers perfectly.
