This collar had a lot of good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I live in a tick area and even in winter my dog gets ticks. I chose this collar because ticks are not as active at this time of year as they are in summer. The reason I give this collar 1 star is because tick collars are designed to repel ticks. I was able to find dead ticks with the Seresto collar, but I didn't find any near her neck. I only photographed one bite but there were about 5 tick bites on her neck right next to this collar. You might think that being this close to the collar is the last place they will bite. My dog also takes chewable tablets for added protection. I can't say it doesn't work 100% because I know the pill works for her. I do not recommend this collar because ticks have a lot of chances of biting and most bites are on the collar.
