If you are afraid of breakage, I recommend Glogex silicone coasters. To make refilling even easier, I recommend an Aozita wide-mouth funnel. I bought an 18 ounce bottle but can easily upgrade to a 25 ounce size so I don't have to refill as often. The lid is loose but you never take it off except to refill. The spout cover falls off due to the choice of material from which it is made. It outperforms the traditional tall dispenser in only one respect - it's easier to fill. If there was a wide mouth funnel that would fit in a traditional olive oil dispenser bottle, I would prefer that.
