These are regular 3 port sockets with 2 USB ports for charging. The plug is angled, which is good, but it still doesn't work next to a large adapter plug. It is very flat and can easily be connected behind furniture. The cord is only 4 feet long, which is fine, but definitely not long. The USB ports work well, charging devices up to 2.4A such as tablets and large phones. Overall, I'm happy with these surge protector splitters. The blue indicator is always on as long as it provides surge protection. I had to tape it up because it kept me up at night. There's no on/off switch, they're only on when they're plugged in. There is an internal circuit breaker and you can just unplug it to reset it which is a good concept and prevents accidental power outages.
