Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 225/45 R17 91W summer by Wiktor Kosiorek ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product that I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

The tire turned out to be very mediocre, it can be put 4. Good, but nothing more. Yes, it slows down, but it doesn’t whistle in turns, it doesn’t particularly float in the water, but all this without a spark. When I switched to the Cayenne from Hankook to the Michelin latitude Sport 3, I gasped at how the car had changed. When I got on the PS4 on the X3 F25 from the same Hankuk, I didn’t feel almost anything. I'd bet on the BMW Michelin latitude Sport 3 if it existed in that size, but it doesn't. I'm comparing the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 and PS4 because I've had a lot of experience with both and everything goes against the PS4. In general, everything. However, it is worth mentioning wear resistance separately: for 2 seasons on the F25, the rear wheels of the PS4 were worn down below the limiter, turning into slicks, which is completely unacceptable at the end of the season in a rainy autumn. The Latitude Sport 3, on the other hand, on a car with twice the power, greater weight, with a driver half the age of the owner of the BMW, was worn down over the same period to the state of "enough for one more season" / Therefore, I consider this rubber to be mediocre and not worth the money that they ask for it. As it wears out completely, I will change it to Kontik.

Pros
  • this is Michelin, it seems that everything should be clear, but NO
Cons
  • descending: Endurance, price, mediocre performance
