I spent several months studying coffee pots. We are definitely coffee lovers, we usually grind fresh beans every day and brew them in an expensive coffee maker. When camping I strain my coffee into a stainless steel pitcher and everyone LOVES coffee. I figured part of loving it was sitting outside, nice and quiet, doing nothing but sitting by the fire and drinking coffee. Of course. But no. I bought a few other pots before this purchase. One was from Coleman and its handle got too hot on the stove. Another coffee pot that spills coffee if you tilt the spout too far. I saw this one and read about the blue glass issue which is the only downside to this product. So I also ordered replacement glass lids when ordering. That was October 2020. Thought I'd wait to see if the glass lid was broken or if there was some other problem. NO CHANCE. This is exactly what I wanted and every morning he performs a new ritual for me. I will not grind beans! 25 years of polishing. Buy only the best whole beans. And now I'm going to buy a branded can of ground fried potatoes. Nothing fantastic. No grinding. 1/3 the grain cost! But the best thing is that the coffee tastes damn good! guests love it. Even the elite Dutch Brothers and Starbucks junkies. On the lowest level of our gas cooker it is hot all day long. In love, in a long-term relationship with an antique coffee pot. don't come back Highest possible recommendation.
