Both my DJI Spark and Phantom drones have camera mechanisms that are very close to the ground when the drone is down. Rotor wash picks up small sand, dirt, and dust and this debris blows into the camera mechanism.This mat precludes debris flying up into the drone thus protecting cameras and drone parts alike. The colored surface is easy to locate on the drone's video feed and also assist the drone's optical flow positioning system in stabilizing at a hover over the takeoff location.The quality is good. The material appears durable and easy to clean is necessary.If you fly drones you need this. Recommended.
- Plenty of room to spare for a couple of Tinyhawk IIs. You can land something large on the 30" pad.
- May be too soft, leading to instability during landing
