Review on 🔌 Premier Gear PG-8247 Alternator: Chevrolet Silverado 1500 HD 2003, Silverado 1500 2003-2005, Express Vans 2003-2005 Replacement by Andrew Walton

As noted by others, this unit definitely makes a noticeable noise/whistle. I also notice a slight drop in voltage (the sensor jumps) when I turn on my turn signals - the headlights also dim/flicker slightly. I was thinking of returning it but didn't want to mess with the removal (I have a bad back and can only bend over the engine bay). I also bought an extra warranty so I'll take care of that if it fails. It does the job, but this unit is no good, especially when you've added spare parts (like a lightbar, fog lights, air pump, audio system, etc.) that put extra strain on the electrical system.
