Overall I am very happy with how they work and they have exceeded my expectations. They're bright enough to be used in a dark kitchen where you don't want to turn on the full kitchen lights for specific small or brief tasks at the sink or counter. They are perfect under the table to illuminate your typing keyboard when the room is darker and you don't feel like turning on the bright lights. I tried both remote controls. They are both fully functional according to the buttons and can work interchangeably with the lights. I have one in the kitchen and one on the table. I haven't found any use for timer parameters, but maybe one day they will be useful. I turned the brightness under the keyboard to a lower level with the remote so it wasn't noticeable and that worked best. all the difference. I leave the light in the kitchen at full brightness and just quickly press the light instead of using the remote, but I like that the remote and advanced settings are an option so if I want some extra ambient light. light i can I would definitely buy again.
