I bought this to replace the 5 year old Waterhog mat that my snow blower was on. When the snow thrower returns to the garage, the snow usually melts. The merman holds this water. The 5 year old carpet developed a leak at the bottom and water ran all over the garage and sometimes froze which was a hazard. I'm hoping this new one lasts longer as it just sits on top with the snowblower and hasn't been walked on or otherwise worn out. April 2019. I used it one winter. Even though it looks brand new, it's losing water, just like my old capybara mat. Not good. If you need a waterproof mat, this is not the solution. My original carpet lasted several years before leaking in the garage. This one started licking almost immediately. Disappointed but too heavy/too much trouble to return.
