Review on ☕ Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe in Black (Model 46895) by Cassie Marie

Just got this yesterday and made about 6 cups of coffee. I have another Hamilton Beach coffee maker that we use for my wife's decaf and I was given it to make either semi-caffeinated or caffeinated French Roast coffee. This one brews about 10 degrees colder (185 versus 195 degrees) but if you use the Strong setting the coffee is really tasty. The first cup of coffee from the thermos is relatively hot, the others "very warm". It's not a problem for me because I just blow it up afterwards. But as I said, the taste is really very good, I wanted that too and the price is right! As for the watch, there have been many reports of watches being too fast. Here's what I found: When I got this, I plugged it in, set the clock and after a few hours it wasn't working compared to my phone. However, I decided to put the plug in a different outlet, so I unplugged it and plugged it into a different outlet. This coffee maker has a "short-term memory", so if you unplug it for a moment, it will remember your settings. When I plugged it into a different outlet, it showed the correct time. 20 minutes later it was 10 minutes fast. And he kept going! So I unplugged it for a few hours and when I plugged it back in I had to reset the time, but since then the time has been perfect again. The really annoying thing is that a lot of people have posted complaints about the clock going too fast. and Hamilton Beach KNOW this is a problem, and they KNOW WHY this is a problem, so you'd like to think that someone in Hamilton Beach would post what I just did and clear the mystery - but NO , they leave us assholes to figure things out ourselves. GRRRR! One star deduction due to low brewing temperature.
