let me tell you that I am a 40 year old woman who weighs about 250 pounds and this dressing table is perfect for me! The stool is strong and holds my fat ass well. The vanity is sized just right for everything I need without taking up much space. This is a real bargain for the price! I don't know why people say it's for kids. You must be quite tall to use this. The height is perfect for me and I'm 5'6. Anyway, I bought some $10 pens, striped contact paper, an $8 fluffy pillowcase to use as a ottoman cover, a box of $5 small Styrofoam roses, and vanity lights (all from Revain) and transformed this vanity from simply chic lol. . I LOVE IT!
