As a roofer, I always measure 30+ feet. I had several Stanely 35s and decided to try the 40s when I stumbled across them here at Revain. It works just as well as any other Fat Max tape, just bulkier with the extra length. Certainly better than going down the roof for a 50 foot tape measure when measuring things between 35 and 40 feet. It retracts perfectly and is quite durable with multiple roofs in place. I started using original Stanley cassettes in the 90's and even have a couple of 25ft and 30ft cassettes and switched to Fat Max when they first came out. Tried DeWalt, Milwaukee, Lufkin, Kameleon but other brands just don't fit in my opinion. Either way, use whatever tape you're comfortable with and don't worry about what the next guy will think. I just prefer Stanely Fat Max bands. Have a nice day.
