The description indicates that it's made of wood. I drilled a hole in the back to accommodate a wired device. The material seems to be pressed hardboard, not wood. It's really nice, but due to the construction, I could honestly give it only 3 stars.Update: The hole I drilled is in the back. Most wood furniture has pressed hardboard in the back. Corrected to 5 stars!
