Review on Spellbinders All-In-One Craft Tool by Michelle Langley

Useful tool!

I've just started making intricate die cuts with my squid. I have purchased many new dies from Crafter's Companion which have been extremely complex with many small parts. Every time I made an incision, it took me 3-5 minutes to clean it. If I have to use the same dice multiple times, the map-making process will take forever, so whether I should use Cuttlefish or Explore will be debatable. Anyway, THAT makes life SO much easier. It takes me less than a minute to wipe off the extra bits. It looks like a durable tool. The brush is hard, which allows you to effectively push out the pieces. It's a bit more difficult to clean teeth with tiny holes, so a sharp point works well. Haven't had to use a spatula yet so can't comment on its use, but it's a hard, durable plastic so I'm sure it will be fine. I have 2 small complaints, which is why I gave 4 stars. 1. Cleanup: You can hold the matrix and clean it over the bin, but for some really complex matrices that are actually in it, it doesn't work. This is meant to be used with a piece of foam that you can place the die on and scrub for extra pressure to remove the parts, but it is NOT included which is a bummer. I made do with the styrofoam block I had (ugh). 2. brush. My brush fell off a few times which was a little frustrating. It's easy to go back, but it's annoying when you have to do it all the time. Aside from my two complaints, I like it.
