I bought it hoping it would 1. work and 2. save space. I'm happy to report that he did both! I didn't have a barrel, just a curling iron, but it was easy for me to learn. The thermal glove protected my hand perfectly. The added bobby pins helped me curl my hair more evenly by dividing it into sections. Although I haven't tried all of the barrels yet, the picture I posted was of the pearl barrel that interested me the most. I love that I now have a barrel attachment no matter what length I cut my hair for. Connecting and disconnecting the barrels seemed pretty easy to me. My only complaint was that when the cord was positioned correctly when installing the curling iron, it tended to be a little heavy, but I guess I just need to be more careful. Overall I think this was a solid purchase for the price.
