I've been warned that while SSDs are much faster, smaller and better in every way than regular drives, if they fail, they can fail forever. I don't know how true that caveat is, but - just to avoid disaster - I bought two of these drives (to store my gargantuan iTunes library) so I can keep one off the office and rotate it regularly. (Probably even should work with regular drives, right?) So far my first U32 Shadow Dura is working great and I slap myself on the head for buying it. I like these little SSDs a lot more than the clunky old regular external drives I've used in the past. (I have another 4TB SSD that I use for Time Machine backups.) I would highly recommend this drive to anyone considering buying an external drive - you won't regret the money spent.
