Stays securely in place (if you do)

As other reviews have noted, there is nothing about this material that sticks so it doesn't stay in place. But if you like me, it will stay safe (on a concrete garage floor) for 4 years. Clean the concrete well with soap, rinse several times and wipe with Windex. If your concrete contains a lot of oil, use triple superphosphate (TSP) instead of soap. It is sold in hardware stores for this purpose or as a fertilizer in garden supply stores. Be sure to remove all of the oil from the concrete and rinse well several times and then allow to dry. Try parking in different spots on the mat until you find the right one, then mark that spot on the concrete with a sharpie. .Thread a strong galvanized wire through each of the 4 holes to form a 4" to 6" long loop. Place the mat over the marking marks and tighten the wire loops until the mat is snug. Use tape to attach the wire loops to the concrete. Glue the front edge of the pad where the tire will roll on it. Don't hesitate - use TREX or Gorilla tape instead of the usual 3M clone crap. Go over the entire tape to press it firmly against the floor. If you clean concrete well, it will last longer than your cars. At best, you may need to add another layer of tape every few years as use wears it down.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Good but not great
