They make up for the lack of strength in my hands
I love these. A friend had a small pair that he carries with him everywhere. I saw him use it to remove the battery. It was so easy I tried a few. The cool handle style snaps them in place, so you don't have to have the muscles you need for regular pliers. I use them for everything. I keep a small pair in my purse and can pull broken bolts out of the way they're tightened. Just a really good all round tool especially if you're like me and don't have the grip strength you used to have.
