Review on White JBL Live 660NC Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones - Long Lasting Battery, Voice Assistant by Luis Esquivel

Just great headphones to listen to. ANC works very well, although you can still hear higher frequencies, which I understand is typical of most ANC algorithms. I've only tried an ANC headphone that can also handle high frequencies. The frequency response is really good across the board and if you don't like it, you can adjust the equalization using the JBL app. Initially I found the headphones a little heavy and the clamping force was tight, but the more I wear them the more comfortable they become. The foam earcups are a bit narrow so I have to position them properly so they don't flap over my ears. The control buttons are very comfortable and easy to press, although the physical distinction between the central OK/Play/Pause button and the up and down buttons could be a bit better. The only area where these headphones could improve is in microphone performance. I tested this by recording my speech next to a high frequency floor fan. My voice sounds fine with the fan off, but when I turn the fan on, the noise-cancellation definitely reduces background fan noise, but still lets through enough to be noticeable. It's not bad and certainly not a deal breaker, but they're not as good at full cancellation as other headphones I've tried. Hopefully JBL can improve this further with a firmware fix. I would recommend them though as these are high quality, comfortable headphones and I really enjoy using them to watch videos when the rest of the house is asleep.
