I'm short, 38ft hips, 28 inch waist and a small pouch that many women have around my stomach. I love these shorts. I bought the size Small Long (black with blue stripe). I've washed them a few times and so far they're holding up well. A few notes on wearing. When I wear regular panties, I fold the waistband to raise my crotch so I don't feel bare skin on my thighs. Roomy in the crotch as you can imagine - good for men. But I also have boxers (I love to wear them to my runs and a bun or wedge - but that's another review.) When I wear boxers I don't have to cuff the waistband, the waistband is still wide and comfortable to wear. GREAT BAGS! They look like you're wearing your boyfriend's basketball shorts. They're nice and loose and long enough that you never have to worry about slipping into your shorts. The black color doesn't look oddly transparent or anything when they're on. I personally like them.
