Review on 🛹 ZUEXT Clear Skateboard Grip Tape: Waterproof Scooter & Longboard Grip Tape for Anti Slip Grip on Rollerboards, Stairs, Guns, Pedals & More (11"x50", 125x27cm) by Paul Monzon

I've used the black version of this griptape with great results, so when I need a clear griptape to show off the great fiberglass topcoat. Rarely discontinued Rayne deck Rival I was sure I ordered this version. As you can see from the photos (and others have mentioned it) it's not entirely clear, it's milky clear. I really like how he toned down the top sheet graphic, it looks understated and classy. If you look closely you can see that I also added clear identical stripes to the vertical edges of the nose and tail to protect against wear and tear, which worked great! Installation was easy, even with Rival's many complex 3D curves. (Tip: after applying but before cutting first, run the screwdriver shaft around the edges, bend them and use the new trapezoidal blade, just like the Stanley utility knife). I rolled out some bubbles with an old skate wheel after warming up the installed tape in the sun. The only flaw is my fault - I was too lazy and only cut out crosses for the screw holes. I had to cut small round holes. The tape bubbled around the screws a bit as I installed the Grrr wagons. I'll order it again when I get more decks with decent topsheet graphics!
