Review on Samsung 980 PRO 500GB M.2 SSD MZ-V8P500BW by Adam Bronisz ᠌

I took for work to drive a stand from virtual machines. The fastest at the time of the review is the SN850, but the store did not have it and did not want to wait. I took this one, it is the second fastest (but very close to the leader) from what is now on sale. There was a BarraCuda 520 before it, and the difference is huge, noticeable even to the eye without any tests. But I did the test. Here people write about some tens of seconds - after pressing the computer button near the floor, while I straighten up to the table, the Windows splash screen already appears :) Important! These fastest SSDs get very hot, under a load of almost 100g! There are reviews proving that they underestimate the temperature in the sensor. He's really VERY hot. I had to change the tower cooler to a large round horizontal one with open fins so that the flow would pass around the SSD and then everything was fine. If you want to buy for a laptop - keep in mind that due to lack of airflow it will throttle and the speed will drop very much! So it only makes sense on PC. From the software - Hyper-V + VB virtualization, Corel + PS graphics, all sorts of wiresharks and log analyzers. Well, DOOM :) Everything works stably, no problems have been noticed. The system was transferred with an acronis to an external HDD-usb, then back. Business for half an hour.
