I absolutely love this shampoo. I actually gave up shampooing my hair 6 years ago, relying solely on cleansing conditioners. The cleansing conditioners completely eliminated the frizzies and left my hair beautifully manageable. However, they also weighed it down a little more than I would have liked, and I needed to "wash” my hair every 5 days (I know, I’m from a generation and culture taught that over shampooing harms long hair). I have "normal” hair, neither oily nor dry, and wanted to see if I could find a natural shampoo that would allow me to go longer between washings and simultaneously give my hair just a bit more lift. After a reading-up on a number of products I decided to give this a try, and am so glad I did. It leaves my hair shiny and soft and extends my days between washings, should I so choose, to 9. I typically just shampoo/rinse, no conditioner. Occasionally, if I’m going to style my hair, I use a little of my old cleansing conditioner on the ends, and that works great too, although I’ll need to shampoo again in a week.
