Looks very good and the design is original, the inside is soft and I think my computer will be protected in case of a small fall or bump. But when I received it it had a terrible smell so I decided to leave it outside for a while. The thing is, it started raining and I can tell you that after a few minutes in the rain it was damp inside, the water didn't really reach the computer area, but it was due to the padding rather than the fabric because the side pockets were completely wet (same for the small bag, it was very wet inside). So yes, your computer can still be protected from the rain if you are outside for a short time, but I wouldn't risk it too much. It's also a bit big in my opinion.
