My family has been using sous vide equipment in the home for a number of years and has been known to even give away one or two while doing so. Sometimes it's nice to have a second car for big events so we took it. The display is nice, bright and easy to read. The sounds are really soft whispers. Not much to say. Bracket - I found the bracket used to attach the unit to the pan we were using worked well. Holds securely and holds up. It's better than the other sous vide devices we have. Temp - It does an excellent job of heating water quickly and maintaining the temperature. I haven't done extensive testing with lab-grade thermometers, but this looks good. The biggest plus of this tool is its beauty in its simplicity. No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth means you don't have to worry about a connection, just plug it in and go. Buy this if you are looking for a cheap, reputable and reliable cooking appliance. Getting ready!
