I know I look like a homeless woman cleaning a tub, but.

THIS IS AWESOME. If, like me, you're blessed with well water, you'll have yellow rings in your tub, sink, and toilet. Funny things. I buy this thing once a year. I could probably do this every 6 months but I'm a teacher so I'm saving this nasty project for the summer. Wear a mask because it smells like the stuff you pour on vomit in school hallways. In fact, it can be the same. "Magic powder. Wear gloves because anything hard enough to remove rust stains might not be good for your skin. Sprinkle this white stuff all over the bath, etc. Take a sponge, wet it and make a sandy paste out of the powder. Last year I just tried a regular bath brush, but this year I found it better to use a sponge. Massage the spots with love. The fact that you can't remove it with a sponge means the stain is deep. You need something more serious. So take some kind of paint scraper and scrape off the stains. It appears like an orange wax shell. God this is so gross. That's great.
