if you have time to play around with recipes and cook times and throw lots of ingredients in the bin. ok take this and analyze the manual so badly written. spent a day trying this as it was designed on DIL for easy cooking. NOT this gift is here. Let's start with the manual. As described, the cooking light doesn't "flash" - it just glows with a constant dual-beam light - and you hear a click (?). Device on / off / on temperature or what? and it should be easy to clean - and it is. I tried several recipes - none of the cook times worked - even after doubling the cook time - sometimes the waffles stuck to the roof, sometimes not - and letting the unit heat up between batches - recipes (even half the time is enough for a dozen" Waffles' when you have the hours it would take to make them all and the end result, yes they were browned on the outside but gooey and undercooked on the inside. We tried using this to toast the corn tortillas - OMG what a a waste of time and had to scrape off those pathetic corn balls as they were carefully cut leaving an ugly mess anyway what we were hoping for was a sweet little Christmas present for our girls - well they are on their way back.
