Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Wii U Fitness Tracker by Michael Gutierrez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Awesome little device!

This rating is for the Fit Meter accessory only. Now remember that this device works in conjunction with the Wii Fit U software, so there are additional benefits (which come with the software) that are not detailed. This includes detailed activity charts and a few "mini-games" but don't worry, just like this device, they work fantastically well for keeping track of your activities and having fun. Now let's focus on this device. First off, it's only $20, which is very affordable for activity trackers. There's quite a bit of tech inside, including an accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, altimeter, thermometer, and low-power display. Basically, it's designed to track just about every activity you do, and it does it very accurately. So far, my experience with him has fully confirmed this. most of time. Activities that involve more upper body stress (e.g. weight lifting) or activities like cycling will not be recorded on this device, but you can manually add them to Wii Fit U if you wish. That being said, it's very accurate as it takes into account not just steps but also exercise intensity and elevation changes to give a pretty accurate idea of how many calories you're burning and how many METS you're consuming. The low-power display can show everything the device records over the course of a day, week, or multiple weeks, depending on what information you're looking for, so the information is always at your fingertips. Syncing the Fit Meter to Wii Fit U is super easy, just press a button and you're done. While it's probably in your best interest to sync it every day, the meter can store up to 7 days of elevation gain and 28 days of steps/calories burned between syncs - handy if you're on vacation. The coin cell battery is preinstalled and while I can't comment on the battery life just yet, it's easy to swap out if needed. In addition to the low-power screen, there is also an auto-standby function, so the device is very energy-efficient. Eating is understandable. If you already own a Wii U and Balance Board and buy them before the end of January, you'll also get the Wii Fit U for FREE! Whether you buy it later or as an additional accessory for another family member, the Fit Meter's value and utility is such that I still wholeheartedly recommend you choose another one. Thanks again Nintendo for helping us stay really beautiful.
