This "trunk extender" was installed on the rear of the Honda Rancher as well as the Honda Rincon. Not only has this Kolpin increased the surface area of the rack from side to side and front to back, it also has sides and multiple bungee cord connection points for attaching gear. I've used this for 5 gallon buckets, coolers, chainsaws, fishing gear, hunting gear and 2 adult men over 200lbs on a Rincon luggage rack to get out of the woods and back to game camp. I would highly recommend this rack to anyone with a versatile quad. Installation was a breeze. Center the basket on the existing rack, attach the mounting plates above the basket and under the original rack with the screws provided. Close down. You're done!
