Firstly, DO NOT expect to put them right where your old door latches were. They are smaller than my original clips and the holes don't match the old ones. This was an advantage for me as the original holes in my camper had been trimmed down a bit. I filled the old holes with caulk, applied a small amount of caulk to the back of these clips, and installed them in just minutes. The only other advice I can give is to make sure they hold the door open before screwing on the new clips. They're shorter than most originals, so you may need to place them closer to the door than you might expect.
