We've always wanted a bridge from our yard to our little woods. But the brides were too expensive, made of wood and probably short-lived. This is how the idea of a "fake bridge” with a "fake pond” came about. We put the stairs close to each other. then dug each side to make a "bridge". Put down a weed mat, some other things like artificial cattails, green plants and artificial herons, and some barnacles. But then we added "blue water" (those stones). We just fell in love with it since it was completed today! We'll post some photos. I hope you like our idea. Now specifically about the stones, they are light weight, NO sharp edges (like fire glass) and really pretty in colour. Deep beautiful blue. Easy to deal with and arrived in 2 days. Makes simply perfect "pond water". We are so happy with these blue stones. Couldn't have done it without her. The blue rocks make this pond sooooo spectacular! I LOVE HER! PS we just did something else. On the side of our home to try to beautify our new neighbors by putting up a strong fence for privacy. We've added an area we're calling "Key Largo". We put in the palm tree, got some sand, shells, edging, a ship's wheel for the fence, a boat rope, and these blue acrylic rocks for "water". we did it with 3 new areas together in this key largo area. So add a new photo of our S-shaped palm tree with blue water.
