Very nice blanket. It fits great and cleans well. I was looking for something to dress my old gelding in when the rain/wind picks up as we don't have a lot of hiding spots around here. Perfect for an Autumn/Spring quilt. It has some padding, but probably not enough if you need something for really cold winters. Updated 1/6/2017 Well we had this blanket on our old man all winter. Holds up great! The material was easy to keep clean, the water drained off instantly and he never kept it dry without a sweat problem. Initially I thought it would not be good for very cold winters but the last few weeks it has been very cold (negative with strong winds) and he has been walking in the pasture. Our other horses hid in the boxes. We will buy another one for our other gelding.
