UPDATE: I have to downgrade my rating from five stars to three. The buttons on it are capacitive and liquid sensitive. So if you're measuring liquid and some of it splatters on the keys, the scale can go haywire, including activating the tare function, which completely messes up your measurements. And if water gets on the keys, they don't respond to touch. It's just a big headache and as such I wouldn't recommend this scale if you plan to use it to measure liquids or if you could get your hands wet while using it. First review: I have had many kitchen scales and am very picky. This is definitely one of my favorite scales and has features that no one has had before. Namely the built-in USB battery. I wouldn't normally be a fan of scales that require USB charging. The reason is that anyone who owns one of them has run out of battery right when you need it. With regular batteries, you can put in new ones and be up and running in a minute. With USB you would be out of action for much longer while you want to get enough charge. However, this one has BOTH. So when the USB battery runs out, you can use regular batteries without wasting a second. Very beautiful. It has a good surface size and is easy to clean. It's also accurate and has a backlit display. There are many things to like here. The only thing missing is that there is no option to only show ounces when measuring dry ounces. The only one is pounds + ounces. So if you have 18 ounces on the scale it will only show as 1 lb 2 ounces, there is no way to show '18 ounces'.
