Review on Leatt Velocity Goggles Graphene Light by Ryan Reiter

Changing lenses is 1000X harder than any video or review!

This looks like a quality product. The strap is wide, as is the only non-slip silicone strip on the inside of the strap. It's easy to set up. It goes well with my Bontragger bike helmet. The color on the right side of the glasses (when viewed from the front) is dark green, not dark blue as expected. Of course I can deal with that. However, I bought extra lenses so I would have options for changing weather (cloudy or sunny), including driving on snowy trails in winter. Of course I read the instructions, watched some videos on YT and tried changing the lens. I'm 75% done but the locking mechanism on one side of the glasses is SO HEAVY and I can't close it after putting a new lens in. I'll try it out in the next few days, but right now I'm not really hopeful that there won't be a comeback. I can't take them out on the road without this locking mechanism.

Pros
  • Roll ready for our 48mm Widevision system (optional)
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
