Worked perfectly. Can be mounted on both sides with the supplied accessories.
I watched a few videos and found the installation very easy. I confirmed the new one would work before installing it. These sliding doors have broken wiring harnesses all the time, so you need to make sure there is power to the lock. I heard mine trying to work so I was sure this would fix it. I also needed a new driver's side wiring harness as it was cut off. As for the driver's door, I still found it easier to remove the latch assembly from the door opening so I could see what I was doing. The exchange took 15 minutes.
